surprise birthday bash

The most amazing thing happened to me on saturday. A usual cycling trip with synn tian turned out to be the most memorable surprise ever. All thanks to Qi and Ser for organising it, synn tian for playing her role really seamlessly, Xiao jun for loaning her kitchen, the guys for reserving the venue and the others for turning up. Serene mysteriously cancelled her appointment with me on saturday. Synn tian asked me out to cycle right after. Shi qi didn't contact me for the enire week. They are all clues that I failed to recognise.

On the day itself, I met up with synn tian earlier than planned because my afternoon appointment was cancelled abruptly. She didn't appear to be keen to go cycling. Using the excuse of not being able to shop for a long time, she pulled me from shops to shops, with me moving along unwillingly. And when it was time to leave, her walking speed seemed to drop to that of a snail's.While we were at East Coast Park, she prevented me from renting a bike, telling me there was a more economical shop in front. I did wonder why she became such a bargain hunter and appeared a little weirder than usual but my suspicion wasn't aroused. She's muddle-headed and in a confused state most of the time and abnormal behaviours are expected.(heeeeeee)

Suddenly, she stopped in her track and commented that the girl across the road resembles qi.I didn't dare to wave since I couldn't see her facial features----I'm slightly myopic you see. She yanked me across the road almost immediately. PHEW! We almost got hit by a bike and she didn't realise it. Almost my entire class was under the pavillon and they greeted me with a loud "Surprise!". I felt like crying.*sob*

I can't believe they took the trouble to plan all these for me. The food and cake were self-prepared and done with perfection. The guys came down to ECP at 1pm to reserve the pavillon.And people took the trouble to be there. GOSH!!!!! I'm really thankful for their effort. Really really thankful.

The guys gave me a lava lamp which exploded when I plugged it into the socket. Once again another surprise to remind me never to forget this day.
