We had dinner at De Coree---korean restaurant--- today for a change. It was soooo good! We all love it!
Tomo reminded me to book my domestic flight today. I was putting it off because i assumed wynne poo was coming. So i did. And guess what?! I managed to get it at 84 dollars! That's the cheapest fare i have gotten thus far! YESH!
I got this from wynne Poo! And i was told that i look like the person in rabbit costume! I think i'm used to being a "non-human" species. Evil green monster, robot girl, plushies, rodent and the list goes on.
SO i did went on an adventure in boring palmy. Not a good adventure though. I almost ended up in Bulls on my way to the airport to pick Tomo up. Luckily i realised when i saw the 100km/h sign and did a U turn. Yang got her before me(JUST 5 mins before!) IN retrospect it was kinda funny. But not funny at that time. I think i'm a gung-ho driver now. Brought Chethi her birthday present. She loves candy! I'm finally relaxing in my room with coffee and cinnamon brioche. Heavenly! Got to get to the farm in this nasty weather tomorrow. Biking in the rain will be great fun. I'm trying to be positive.
Came up with a class tee design. Somehow i feel guilty about enjoying myself and not studying. Watched a stupid chick flick at Chethi's today. They cleaned up the house really well after the party. It was spick and span. I was so privillaged to have a car to drive around in the afternoon all thanks to Tomotoro who's away in Hamilton.

Going for Cheti/Sam/Ann's 80s Party soon! WHEEE! Haven't dressed up for ages. Haven't done so much make-up since i stopped working at DFS. I'm very excited because i finally got the books sorted too.Too many nights of worry. Cya soon!
The book order guy called at 2am this morning! Tomo came to my door with the phone.(AND why is she awake?! She must be a light-sleeper) I think i was mumbling in my sleep-induced stupor. Silly guy.
I'm starting to feel like a doctor. Was at the farm with my stethoscope. Had to do a case study and ended up borrowing 2 clinical books. Wooo...
I think i'm too much attracted to pretty things. Can't help looking at these online. And i'm having a test tomorrow.
Enjoyed my classes today. Got to learn more practical stuff, such as cathetering a vein and doing blood smears. Even though i spent my hours collecting money from the class for our bulk book order during break , i felt good and happie. Somehow i think it was time well spent.
Hataraki man taught me something: Work shouldn't be something to keep your mind occupied so as to forget your troubles. That'll only generate mediocre results. It's amazing that i could get something out of a stupid drama. BWAHAHA!
I found an interesting book on orang utan today. SHall borrow it next week. Haven't been reading non-fiction books for ages. I used to love them when i was a kid but i forgot them along the way.
I'm walking to campus for my second time this week. And it's only tuesday. It's therapeutic but i got to leave the house an hour earlier. Below 10 degree celsius once again...

Neighbour "Pepper" passed away. I came to realise that an individual's presence affects not just his friends and family but people who are used to seeing this person around as well. It's just like the ice cream man who stopped visiting or the lady who is no longer waiting at the same bus stop as you are every morning.

I baked brussels sprouts for dinner yesterday.
Class ended at noon. Been to the gym, supermarket and have done my laundry. And guess what?! I'm having my lunch cum tea now! At 4pm! Gosh! Somehow I have so many small menial little things to do before i could sit down and take a break. They must have accumulated through the week.
By the way, as i was walking home in the rain, i realised i wouldn't have done so back at home. Most likely i would be calling my parents for help.
Get well soon Mrs Matthew! Dr Cory Matthew has really bad dark eye circles. Maybe he's not sleeping well. Bad things do happen to nice people. No use lamenting at all.
We were once a tiny little follicle. I should be happie that i'm not a corpus luteum.
But i'm not as chirpy as i wish to be. Blame it all on the yucky weather. I'm glad that i bought my green waterproof jacket. It protected me from rain and hail today.
O do i feel old and prudish.
Alas it was a rainy day once again!
Class ended at 5pm and i took a ride back with Tomo. Surprisingly, 3 of us went for frisbee. Disappointing how the team turned out this year. I'm feeling a little negative about things, which is not at all good. We had hell's pizza for dinner. YUM! It was my treat because i lost a bet a while ago. But i'm glad i lost. There's still a ray of hope after all. hehehe. And i found my "anchovies" buddies!
Watched Hataraki man to regain my randomness and positive energy. The song at the back was hilarious. There were 5 dancing men who had the goofiest expressions on their faces.
I shall do more work tomorrow. Got to get up at 6am for classes at 8am. I have a 4 hours hiatus tomorrow so i guess i might get back home before heading to campus again. good night.

I'm grateful for today. I love hanging out with Chethi, Ann and Sam. I love meeting new people at the Merlion's club gathering.
YAY FRIDAY! Bye bye grotesque animal cutting! Hello wonderful weekend! Lots to do this weekend and i'm looking forward to all of them!
Today was sunny after a long period of constant rain. So i took a couple of photos with my phone. I got to stroll back home once again. These walks are quiet and lonely but good for the soul. WOOSAAA! haha.
Blogging now because the house now reek of garlic. I hate cooking smell so i'm hiding in my room. Shall run into the kitchen to grab some water and food soon. Yang just finished his cooking. I'm famished after frisbee. How i wish we have a kitchen outside the house. Or maybe with an extra powerful ventilation fan. That's all i ask for.
Class ended early today and i spent 2 productive hours studying in the computer lab, just before a humongous 'school'---as in a school of fishes--- of language centre students made their way in. And i do mean HUMONGOUS! Luckily i escaped that. Rewarded myself with a scrumptious lunch of salmon bagel and bought 4 naked bagels to last Tomotoro and me through the week. We once bought a dozen of them but the freezer is currently stuffed full of frozen mince, hence no space for our bagels. No use lamenting on it anymore.
It's really unusual and suspicious how flowers bloomed so quickly on campus. Maybe they were transplanted on the trees. And 'spring' brings happie news! I might be dog sitting during the 2nd week of this coming semester break! I was oblivious that it's a 2 week long break till today. SO there'll be a week left for me to enjoy after a week of farmwork! YIpeeeee! The thing left for me to do now is to talk to my landlord.

Spring is imminent! That makes me happy! Tomo and Yang made Assam fish/prawn curry yesterday night. I was the official taster. Doesn't that sound impressive?
I had a relaxing saturday. Morning was spent at the market with my flatmates. Then i strolled to campus and biked back, watched a couple of episodes of drama and went for a short trip to the mall with Tomo.
Today is my study day. Cookie man is doing extremely well. Somehow that makes me want to do better than what i'm doing now. 3 birthdays are coming up this week----mom's birthday, koko's birthday and finally national day! YAY!

Our previous vacuum cleaner passed away at a ripe old age of 4 years old. It was coughing out smoke as according to Miss Azusa. You poor soul. I contributed a new baby vacuum cleaner to our flat. And all of us went "WHOPPEEE!".
I have been doing lots of random things this week. And classes were good--- i picked up dog poo.
Escorted my trusty bike back home today. Also, i'm addicted to tofu. I'm going to cut myself another block.
p.s. the dog bone falafel were made by moi for dinner yesterday. we are turning vegetarian.
