I felt so alive, running haphazardly in the rain and jumping into puddles of murky water. Today was the pre- winter league clinic for newbies like me who hadn't really grasp the rules of the game. We started off with 2 rounds of jogging around the field(Yes it was raining) and ended with a single-gender game(Yes it was raining still, maybe heavier). My one and only pair of track shoes was sodden and I felt wet, yucky and sticky---exactly like how I felt after every canoe training in the past. But I enjoyed the game.I don't mind diving into mud puddles just to catch hold of the silly plastic disc.
I was told that ultimate is huge in NZ and found a team in my college. Could I join Ultimate and dance as well as work and study at the same time? Angeline you shall have to do it. You have to! Hate to give up things i love. Maybe I could milk cows in the morning.I definitely don't mind getting up early. Then I would have the evenings free as well as the precious weekends. Participating in things I like would definitely give me less time to miss my family and friends. I hope it's possible.(fingers crossed)
Can't wait for the real league! Got to get a pair of boots before that. Kim recommended me kids boots from queensway since you could get one below 50 dollars. Luckily my feet are small. Hehe. The perk of being short.
