Ann, Anna & Angeline
Returned to my warm, cosy and clean room at 445am today. Ended up doing 4 loads of laundry as well as unpacking and carrying down my bike from my room to the parking area before having my much needed hot shower. The bathroom in my wing is under rennovation now so i've to use the boy's bathroom which is currently only utilise by Azusa, Audrey and me. The stupid sensor which triggers water to flow down the urinals is located just outside the toilet cubicles and i must say i trigger it everytime i enter the toilet. It's supposed to be a water saving mechanism. How oxymoronic!
Ann, Anna(driver) and me went on the same car because everyone thought it was funny to have 3 girls of similar names, height and built to be group together. The trip had fun and boring parts but i did enjoy most of it. i bet they did too. We stayed at a camp site with wooden bunks on the first night which only cost about $15 but there were no showers and it was real cold and dodgy.Meaghan's place is heated only by a fireplace which wasn't lighted all the time so i was pretty much freezing. It was raining most of the time we were there but brenna, ann, aymie and meaghan still went on a life guard boat to coast along the choppy raglan surf beach.(Meghan is a life guard there) I wasn't as crazy as to risk falling into the sea at a temperature of below 5 degree celsius and meaghan and brenna couldn't stop remarking that i was a wimp after that. I told them i'm out of the peer pressure phase.bwahahah!
Headed to Aymie's place in Auckland after that and we had chilli mince with pasta and bread cooked by her mom who looked rather intimidating.ECK! I have to say that the dinner we had at Meaghan's and Aymie's didn't really suit me because i don't actually eat beef. But i hate to be picky when we were given food so i had a slice of roast beef at meaghan's and a scoop of the dubious looking mince at aymie's. Everyone seems to be enjoying the food though so i really hate to get too much unwanted attention. I did enjoy the blueberry pie that meaghan's mom baked though.Meaghan's mom even baked cookies and muffins for us to bring with us! I do like Auckland because it reminds me of Singapore---- lots of shops, skyscrapers and traffic. Sadly, i didn't get to look around the shops because we were all on a mission to find a NICI's giraffe for brenna's birthday. Only got a funshine bear plushie that i wanted for a looong time.
We got a city pass which allows us to visit 4 attractions at a discounted price. Rainbow's end and skytower weren't spectacular but i did enjoy the rides at rainbow's end since i have been thinking about disneyland for a while since i got here. The theme park hasn't been revamped for ages which is a shame though.
And now please hold your laughters till i finish. Aymie took us to the ranch that she used to work for horse riding at a discounted price of 30 dollars for about 1.5 hours. She is a really good rider with a huge collection of ribbons won and i really enjoyed the ride on Diamond. Opportunely, I was the one who brushed diamond as well before the ride so we got to know each other a little. Throtting was a little scary though and i was trying real hard to keep my balance as i bounced up and down Diamond's back. After the ride, Aymie suggested a bush walk and thus we went happily around the ranch estate. As we were heading back, we were given several routes to take and i voted for the rope climb up a hill while Meaghan wanted the walk across a wooden plank. Jo wanted the easiest route which is totally safe. In the end, it was decided that we go across the plank before the rope. I had a real bad feeling about the plank before i went on it since it was just a thin piece of wood across the cold bog and it was covered by thick bushes of tall grass that grew from the water bed.Not long after we started, i let out a yelp and i was in the shoulder-deep water. Brenna couldn't stop laughing and she even took a picture of me without trying to save me. I felt like pulling her into the water too. I was the last one so everyone was already across and no one except brenna knew it was that bad. They thought i just got my shoes wet. As if. I managed to push myself out by exerting force on the plank and i had a miserable walk back to the car and to Aymie's place. I was almost a block of ice with multiple cuts on my hands which were too numb to feel pain. Now my shoes are still wet and i finally did manage to get those yucky duck weed and plant materials off my clothes. I bet they will tell everyone about this incident when they get back. I might as well just tell it myself. The funny thing was i couldn't stop laughing when i fell in. Guess i was too traumatised to cry.
Before i caught my bus ride back at 8pm, we visited Kelly tarlton's aquarium( the likes of under water world) and spent lots of time at the heated pools. It was drizzling then and i had to run from pool to pool or pool to slide and vice versa or else i'll freeze to death.
I'm glad to be back or else i'll be sure to get into more accidents.(touch wood) Looking forward to the tournament tomorrow. Luckily i still have enough food in my fridge to make peanut butter and jelly sandwich for my packed lunch. Don't really want to get out while the rain is falling and the wind is howling.

Road trip coming up!
here's a freddo for you! i love freddo!
I'm quite lazy to blog these few days, even though my exams sorta ended on tue and officially ended today. Had steamboat on tuesday and i really stuffed my face full with mussels and squid tentacles. They are my favourite sea food and i haven't had them for a looooooong time! Dining hall food are usually cheap and of poor quality. Please refer to fel's blog(under "childish...") or hazel's blog(under irritating...) for further information. I'm too tired to elaborate.Bwahahahahah! i so feel like dancing now! Crazy big expressive dance moves! And jumping into a pool of sweet popcorn! WOOOHOO! That's life! I'll be leaving for my road trip on saturday and will be back the following saturday, just in time for frisbee tournament at porirua. I've made such a BIG sacrifice just to play frisbee. I could have stayed another week with my crazy hall mates as well as get a ride back in anna's car instead of taking a NINE HOURS bus ride.I'm trying not to think about it. I get car-sick you know. I would also have one less week to spend in boring dead palmy with almost absolutely no one in the hall except for Azusa and maybe a couple of international students. ARGH!!! Maybe i shall cycle to fel's place when i'm bored just to get her out of bed.(she usually wakes up at 12 or later!!!) I'll be looking around for a job too and i've decided to redecorate my room which is getting pretty boring. OK THEN THAT'S ALL FOR NOW!

swish!
I was thinking about what to write in the shower but i lost all my inspiration when i got out.Maybe i should reside in the bathroom for good.BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Now that my biology of animals exam is over, i decided to commemorate this day by cutting out that stupid looking reptile that i mutilated during the lecture and stuck it to my door. He's my new pet, Bobby. The paper wasn't that easy.Lots of taxonomy stuff with names that i can't even pronounce. But it's worth 120 marks so each question is worth less than 1 %.Hopefully that helps.
Can't remember what i wanted to write!!!! It was pretty inspirational but melancholic and now i can't remember!!!
P.S.The photos are taken on the last day of school---about 2 weeks ago---and the card with the heads bobbing in it was made for abraham on monday.the other card was given to fel on her birthday.
