Had animal handling lab today. So i had to skip frisbee practise. But it was well worth it. Dog handling was really enjoyable and informative and i got to mingle with dogs! That's the most important part. I realised how much i miss momo. There's this dog who is going to die of cancer sometime soon. His tail was wagging frantically when he saw us, hoping to be let out just for a while. I almost cried but managed not to. While we were learning ways to restrain a dog, the vet nurse(instructor) mentioned that her colleague got half of his face ripped out by a dog. Then i realised how potentially dangerous being a vet could be. A doctor wouldn't have to go thorugh that. He could jolly well communicate with his client and no restraining methods would be needed(unless the client isn't sane). And vets have to deal with the pets' owners too. That's double blow isn't it. Guess that's why vets are so much respected over here and regrettably, they also have the highest suicide rate.
OH I added another dog to my list of favourite breeds! Old engish bulldog! They might not be the prettiest thing around but they are sure funny.
