I made a new friend today. Finally a lady, an English lady to be exact. She's volunteering once a week since she just quit her job and is in the midst of moving on to another. She lived in Tokyo for a year and a half before this and she has already been in Singapore for a year. And coincidentally, she'll be touring NZ next week. Her bf's job involves moving around the globe and hence she moves as well. I would like such a job eh.
PLanted 8 sugar canes today. Hope they grow well! I made an effort to not kill the earthworms that i dug out, carefully placing them back into the soil. Protect my plants mister earthworms!!
And there was this zookeeper who didn't respond to any of my questions these few days. While i was wondering if i was being a nuisance, he revealed to me today that he can't really understand english since he's from Malaysia. !!!
