I managed to fix my bike's breaks today. Richard---my landlord---was here to mow the lawn and he helped me a little just to get things going. Thank you, you made my day!

Yay my new york cheese cake turned out fine! Happie birthday grandpa! Too bad i have already sent Qi's birthday card and forgot to take a picture of it. We had toasted rice buns, cavier, kebabs and salmon for dinner yesterday. I have to say that was extravagant. But come to think of it, Tomo and me survived on instant soups etc through the week. I had the remaining cavier as an onigiri just now. Hmmmm... Tomo makes really good rice buns! Oh and we'll be eating grandpa's birthday cake for him. hehe. I'll bake him one when i get home.
I have been drawing and painting and baking the entire morning.Studied quite inefficiently in the afternoon. I shall post pictures of my works of art soon. I think i'm obsessed with pretty stuff.

My first time making french toast. I burnt a couple and they appeared less tentalising than what i hope they would be. But opportunely they tasted good.
p.s. the tiny bears are croutons made from leftover bread. I shall have to go feed the ducks some time soon. Kept a pack of bread crust. Hmmm crusty!

I haven't had such happie times for a while. This weekend was good even though we were ranked the last few teams. I didn't study at all but i feel alright. I'm back on solid ground and ready for whatever to come. Yipeee! Hope Tomo and Yang go to the wind farm soon, very soon.

Somehow it's easy to forget the good little things and dwell in those awful ones that you just wish were forgotten. Tomo has a few inspiring quotes from Dalai Lama on her blog today.
So here i shall count my blessings:
Class was weird today. Professor Tom Barry started passing swedes around the class. And if that wasn't weird enough, he took out a bag of cut-up swedes and threw them around the class, while telling us that they were edible. SO he munched on a couple of them and encouraged the class to do so. The class was about ruminant nutrition.
Afternoon practical was unusual too. I was actually in a group with ivor and Paul for the 2nd half of the practical. Sarah, meaghan and Jess dumped me after the 6 of us did our horse practical! haha. It was fun though. Everyone was restless so we displayed quite a bit of destructive behavior. Stephanie burst my bubble again with her hug. Yikes!
Not forgetting that i managed to get an invoice for the books quite smoothly. So today is good. Tomo and me went to get stuff for tomorrow and had salmon for dinner! O salmon! And it was fresh salmon steak! We baked them in the oven with miso paste. Azusa came back with cheese for us to do a taste test as well. I couldn't really eat them because of the viral infection that i got but at least i got to taste them.
Wheeee! My list is long. I think i should do this everyday!

My life here seems to be getting more interesting by the minute. Paul and me went to the campus's legal advisor just now to seek help for escaping tax. We were taxed---or is it just me-- for the book order. And it wasn't my order per se. That one hour could be better spent studying in my opinion. Now i 'm waiting to go see him again, which put me in no mood to start studying. Got to do some study. To think that i actually feel like going to town to get a hot dog before class... Maybe i shouldn't. Maybe i should just study. I think i'm high on panadol. It's weird that i've been having a headache since yesterday. But no worries. Everything is good here. Kenta, Ayaka, Joji and Tomoko are back! Nationals this weekend too!

I made this for our dinner today.It's a traditional Italian vegetarian pasta. I finally could make a main dish all by myself! And i made almond jelly too which needs to be set in the fridge.
Pdus asked me for help. He wanted a mascot for his new web system that he's setting up for the class. SO i did. Apparently i'm "famous" for drawing quirky stuff. Carol thought i was "animated"?! ...

I collected the first box of books from the office today. 19 more boxes yet to come. I took one out for myself. Somehow i can't wait to study anatomy because i could colour the pictures in the book. But i have physio test to study for. Dinner at Chethi's later. Bringing Tutu along just because she's bored and i feel like a bad dog sitter.
Completed my assignment, cleared the books and notes that were littered across the limited floor space of my room, figured out the outstanding tuition fee and am now ready for bed. I hate to leave things undone before i go to bed. I'm not that happie though. It's quite a bit of money left unpaid. Hopefully it was a mistake and i don't have to pay. But i doubt so. This year's fee does indeed cost more than last year's. And i'm oblivious till now. geez Angeline!

I haven't felt like 'hataraki man' for ages. Suddenly i'm so into working hard this break. Maybe it's because of all the assignments and test i have when class starts again. Not forgetting Nationals as well as Kenta and Joji who are visiting. But i had this terrible stomach pain yesterday. I was almost writhing in pain. Weird symptoms but unknown causes. I took medication for both diarrhoea and gastric pain.
Tutu had 2 apples for breakfast today. All because there was no more keebles. Shall go grab some from her place later.

I got up at 730am today even though i don't have to. Brought Tutu for a walk by the lagoon and to the bakery. Within this period, i also managed to do my laundry. I'm proud of my efficiency. Going to campus soon to do some work.
