Sorry haven't been updating for a while. No time to post pictures and write about my life in general. Farming days are busy days. And tiring too. Doing my report at the computer lab now. I feel slightly sick after drinking a bottle of rocky road flavored Primo for lunch. I used to have this when i couldn't eat after tightening my orthodontic braces. I shall update when i feel like it. I have been mixing with guys so much these days that i surprised myself by swearing sometimes. Believe me they add a F***(ing) to every sentence. Cya!

I got to perform ring block on 2 deers today and squirted myself with some of the analgesic instead. And we pulled a dead fawn out of her mom. R.I.P.
Somehow i'm enjoying farmwork. I got to know more people from around the world and i feel like a tough cookie! WHOOSH!

i haven't had so much fun for ages! i feel alive!really alive. 8 of us from Trinidad, Mumbai, Singapore, France and Germany went on a crazy trip. And we managed to squeeze into a tiny room and a tiny car. Updates tomorrow! Look out people! Dinga dinga...

Random trip to Taupo with Ivor and company. Will be back on sunday. Was helping Sam moved before this and felt as if i've been rushing here and there. Went to wash my hair just in case i don't get to shower during the trip( i think we are sleeping in tents!). Heading to the podiatrist now. CYA!

Farm work was supposed to start today. So i dragged myself out of bed at 6am even though i slept at 2ish the night before. I had a wee bit of alcohol and i was still a little groggy. Biked up to the farm and it took me a while. i was biking uphill on a 100km motorway!!! i felt a surge of accomplishment. Farmer was there at 730am to greet me. However, i was told that he have something to attend to these few days. I have to meet him on monday. I shan't bike up the hill again. Walking is so much more energy efficient. I think it was not my physical stamina but my perseverance that gave me the motivation to bike up the shockingly steep slope.
After i got out of my sweaty clothes, I met up with Ann and Sam. We did so many random things today. We even walked barefooted to the river! The weather was surprisingly warm and sunny! Summer is finally here! Wheeeee! The sun scorched me really badly though. I'm a burnt potato!

YAYYAYYYAYYYYYYYYY! Farm work tomorrow though. Meeting farmer at the deer farm tomorrow. Sheep and beef farm is further up and he's giving me a ride on his truck. I shall attempt to bike there and keep to the left as much as possible.

I rewarded myself with a good lunch/brunch today. It was almost too decadent. I had french toast and flat white at a cafe near the library. I switched to flat white because it is cheaper and less sweet as compared to cuppaccino or mocha. Short black actually goes well with most cakes. I think the exams are dragging far too long. I'm kinda sick of revision. So i was rummaging through my wardrobe and trying on some clothes i haven't worn for a while. Realised that i haven't gotten the chance to dress up since i got here. I'm delaying farmwork for a day. I think i do deserve a day break. And i've yet to ask the farmer if he could give me a ride in the morning.
a great respite, before study starts again tomorrow. I didn't go for fireworks in the end. Joined Carol, Jen, Graham and Ivor on a random get-together instead. It was unexpected and unplanned for. But it was fun. I'm sleepy now. good night.

I CAN'T wait to eat it! Now that i can choose to use the kitchen earlier( no classes), i actually bothered making yummy dinner. I'm playing fireworks tomorrow! WHEEEE! Got to study harder now. YOSH!
I'm kinda worried to visit the medical centre tomorrow to collect the referral letter for insurance claim. I don't wanna catch the gastroenteritis bug!
Yesterday's paper was long and tedious. I think it used up all my glucose store. 10 essay questions in 3 hours. I felt like sleeping mid-way through it. But i told myself not to. It was like a marathon. hehhehe. SO i made myself spicy tomato ramen for dinner as a reward. Heading to the library soon. The city library only opens at 10am. By the way, it was hailing this morning!!! Freaky weather! I thought winter was over and already packed my thicker jacket and coat away. Brrr...

Having exams in the afternoon. And guess what i'm reading about now?! Horse racing! And i'm look supposed to know how lucrative this industry is. So NZ exported 40% of her thoroughbreds? I know all about deer farming too. Do you know that a deer carcass has to weigh 50kg before it could get the optimum pay out? Can't believe how much random facts i have to know.

Somehow just taking an anatomy exam drained me out so much that i felt terribly famished after that. I'm not exaggerating at all. Tomo & Yang went for tim sum yesterday afternoon and brought back egg tarts for me! I was extremely touched and ecstatic to receive 3 cute egg tarts. I ate them even though they pleaded me to spare their lives. MUAHAHAHA!
