Just went for a job interview. It's a 2 days promotion affair in September. I hope i get it. I was wearing my torn jeans though and I told her i was sorry for that and I just came from university. haha hope i get it.

I shall make this when i feel like it. The donut in the supermarket has animal fats?!
Twas a busy day! Went for Japanese class after class, Amy came to pick me up for bike shopping, Sam and Ann joined us for another round of bike shopping and we had dinner at subway and coffee at cafe cuba. They were my road trip gang. I wasn't feeling exactly genki this week. Feeling lonely and unmotivated because of the dull weather and flu virus passing around class. Thanks for being there for me crazy friends! I'm tempted to upgrade my bike so i could bike every morning without worrying that i'll miss the bus. I'm hoping to get the job I found today. Then I'll get my bike! Looking forward to trek biking with Amy, Sam and Ann when I get a trusty bike! My current bike is an embarassment as it takes me many pedals to get it moving. I guess you get what you pay for.
Yi fang came up to me with a brownie today! It was a pleasant surprise! Thank you Yi fang for sharing it and Jason for baking it!
I realised that I could be a great cook. Made this from the leftover pasta I boiled 2 days ago.
Didn't go to Valentine's place for dinner after all. Guess i'll have an early night so i'll be super genki tomorrow! Couldn't sleep after taking panadol flu yesterday. I just realised that it contains caffeine!!!!
Everyone was coughing in class. I got myself some preventive herbal medication and a loaf of bread to bring to Valentine's place later.
I made enough for tomorrow's dinner too! ペペロンチノ pasta with salmon flake and wakame! Cooking for one person is hard work.
GUESS WHAT?! YANG AND TOMO ARE GOING TO BEIJING AND JAPAN TOGETHER AT THE END OF YEAR!!!!!!!!!YIPEEEEEEEEE! SUCCESS!!!!!
Went for a short tramp with Amy, Ann, Chethi, Issac, Rob, Mike, Zach and Ben. I was glad that I forgo studies for a couple of hours. I love company on most days. It would be nice if the house was warm and I could choose to study in the lounge instead of my room. Ann and AMy formed a study group and I'm so joining them.
Here are a few photos from the skydiving CD I bought. Too bad I wasn't looking at the camera!!!!!! The weather was awful on friday and it was spent waiting for the sky to clear. Lucky that saturday turned out good! Dinner last night was on 3 boats but it was another drinking affair. The food wasn't good at all.
I'm a little exhausted from the trip. Drunk and naked classmates were too much for me. I might go to bed soon.
Today is our half-way day! Another half the distance to go before we graduate!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going sky-diving. But the weather doesn't seem to be helpful at all. Thank you Tomo for giving me a ride so early in the morning! :)
こんにちわ!おはよう!きょは お元気ですか? 私は 友達と バスで いしょに タウポへ行きます!
This is me with my groom (mentee) and the lady he/she made pregnant. BWAHAHAH! Didn't bring my camera so i stole this picture off facebook. Look at my facebook for more pictures!
DOn't be shocked! I'm not getting married anytime soon. Another vet tradition. Not sure why vet school has so many weird traditions. Tomorrow is mentor mentee happy hour and it's almost compulsory to go. We have be given a role to dress up as and your mentee will be dressing up as your complement. And guess what?! I am to dress up as a bride. I have no time to prepare at all and I brisk walked to town after class today to get cloth for my veil just before closing time. Spent only 2 dollars for my entire costume!!!! WHEEEEE! Attached the veil to my hair band and I shall be wearing my old prom dress which i thought i would not fit anymore. YAY! Think i'll only be staying for a while tomorrow. I do not quite enjoy happy hours.
Found this on Jeana's blog. I want a wooden table too!
I think i'm suffering from Kawa kawa withdrawal syndrome. It was nice living with a family and having people around you all the time. I woke up not knowing what to do today. I could clean my room, hang out my laundry or study Japanese. But i don't feel like doing any of those. So i made a timetable for semester 2.
Here are some photos from the farms i visited up north. The huge bowl of mussels were courtesy of Sam who caught them for us. There were many more bowls of them. We were violently ill ( just kidding). The trip inspired me to start a fruit bowl. We were bingeing on fruits from Ann's mom's fruit bowl, especially the mandarins. Went for a movie with Anita, Gertrude, Issac Isabella and borus (all fake names). Mine was Augustus. We had huge gourmet burgers for dinner. I had this grilled chicken burger which I had some trouble to devour. Think crispy veggie, aioli and avocado instead of greasy mayo and limp lettuce. I guess this is the only fast food I would put into my mouth.
Had lots of fun, lots of laughters, lots of vet experience and lots of car rides. Through these 2.5 weeks, I got to know Ann's family and people working at the vet clinic quite well. Before I knew it, it was time to say goodbye. I made dinner on several occasions and whipped up chicken rice, Singapore curry, Seafood miso ramen, Japanese curry and some random stirfrys. Cooking for a group of people didn't seem that hard and I quite enjoyed it. And i had this routine of giving Angus, Kreb's family diabetic cat, his daily dose of insulin every morning since i was the earliest to rise in the morning. It was a GREAT respite and i have just too much to write. I indeed feel more like a doctor now. A big thanks to the Kreb family for hosting me as well as Jenni the vet and Kate the nurse for giving me jobs to do.
p.s Too many to upload them all. more tomorrow
